"Planning and Paddling - the Basics of Coastal Kayaking" with Wendy Schnapp.
Wendy Schnapp is part owner and General Manager of Tarpon Bay Explorers, Inc. - “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge's concessionaire since 2002. The Explorers provide guided educational tours, fishing charters and recreational equipment rentals on trams, boats, kayaks and paddleboards.
Schnapp holds Bachelor’s Degrees from the University of Illinois in Biology and Biochemistry and a Masters in Business Administration from Florida Gulf Coast University. Schnapp is a National Association of Interpretation certified Interpretive Guide and holds certifications from the American Canoe Association as a Level Two Coastal Kayak Instructor and from Paddlefit as a Standup Paddleboard Instructor. She loves paddlesports and environmental education.
The public is invited to this Library Program. There is no registration required and no additional cost to participate.
