"What Really Happens in a Jury Trial" - Author George Wilgus at Sanibel Library
Attorney George Wilgus, author of The Gyroscope of Guilt, will review what happens “behind the scenes” in jury trials and how a jury can be manipulated - a perspective from the lawyer's eye. Wilgus is the co-author of The Layman’s Guide to Legal Survival. He will sign books after this legal program at the Library at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31.
A former assistant prosecutor, he is a certified civil trial lawyer with more than 40 years of trying cases before juries in state and federal courts. He has represented numerous manufacturers, insurance carriers, professionals, municipalities, and individuals in the defense of all types of civil litigation. He is a graduate of Princeton University and the National Law Center at George Washington University.
The public is invited to this Library Program. There is no registration required and no additional cost to participate.
