The talk is totally in "good will humor" and is based on a book he's been creating for the past four years.\n\nTruby and his wife first came to Sanibel in 1985\, then became regular annual "Seasonal Cowards" (as he calls them)\, 29 years ago\, always staying at the original Sanibel Arms. He played softball for Sam Bailey's team for many years and then played in the Baileyball pickup games. A U.S. Army veteran\, Truby has been a member of the island's American Legion Post 123 for 25 years.\n\nHis talk is silly and he will ask folks for funny local insider details to include in his book\, which he says he "may actually write someday." Over his 68-year career\, Truby says he has "solid experience" in advertising\, consulting\, criminal investigation\, higher education\, journalism\, photography\, public relations\, and sales. He has had 23 books published\, and has earned 11 national writing awards.\n\n\n\nThe public is invited to this Library Program.
