DESCRIPTION:Family Storytime: for Kids Age Five and Under and Their Caregivers\n\n\n\nFamily Storytime is a program that encourages the development of pre-reading skills through songs\, rhymes\, fingerplays\, and stories. Length is approximately 30 minutes plus the activities that follow.\n\n\n\nCaregivers are asked to model storytime behavior by participating\, and remaining in the room until the program ends.\nNo registration is required\, locals and non-residents welcome.\n\n\n\n Toddlers will also enjoy exploring the Library's Early Literacy Center that features soft sculptures as well as manipulatives - including unit blocks\, sorting games\, magnetic letters\, puzzles and numbers - to encourage curiosity\, imagination and play.
