DESCRIPTION:Join the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation for a Weeds n' Seeds plant walk at the SCCF Puschel Preserve\, located on the south side of Periwinkle Way between Purdy Drive and Martha's Lane. \nBy exploring some of the more rugged parts of the preserve\, we will see remnants of 'Old Sanibel' landscaping\, and what happens when some of these plants are unmonitored and left in wild areas. It will become clear what an amazing transformation SCCF has been able to accomplish in the short years since Sanibel's ongoing hurricane recovery.\n\n\n\nParking is available at the east end of Tahitian Gardens Shopping Center (1975 Periwinkle Way\, Sanibel\, FL). Walk east\, including the short distance across Purdy Drive\, to the entrance of Puschel Preserve on Periwinkle Way.\n\nNo reservations or fees required. Walks will last approximately 2 hours.\n\nFor all Weeds 'n' Seeds updates\, including last-minute changes or cancellations\, please view/join our public Facebook group.
