9 -Year-Old Author To Talk About Her Sea Turtle Book

Emiliana Fuger is a 9-year-old published author of a storybook called “Anatomy Under the Sea: The Adventures of Luna the Loggerhead.” The book follows Luna the Loggerhead Sea Turtle on her journey through South Florida’s waters as she meets eight fascinating sea creatures and discovers how their anatomy compares to her own. It’s a fun and educational mix of storytelling and science that fills a gap in children’s nonfiction.

When Emiliana was just 7, she discovered there were no kid-friendly resources on the internal anatomy of a sea turtle – so she decided to write the book she wished existed. Now, at 9 years old, she’s eager to share that journey with other kids through in-store readings and signings, complete with her life-size sea turtle replica.
