Mally Khorasantchi, primarily known as an abstract painter, describes her work as large-scale contemporary art inspired by nature. A Naples resident for more than 25 years, the German-born Khorasantchi has been a full-time professional artist since 2005. Her work has been collected by both private and corporate clients both in the U.S. and abroad. A combination of iconography from her personal history woven within the shapes observed in nature is depicted in the large-scale paintings with harmonious blocks of color and the chaos of the natural forms. Inspired by nature and life’s opposing forces, each work invites the viewer in to explore the mysteries hidden within the abstracted natural landscape.
