Edison Ford "Study Hall" Program ( Grades 3-5)

If your children are slated to begin this school year in the Lee Virtual School or Lee Home Connect, we are now offering a small group setting where students can complete their schoolwork on site at Edison Ford, working with the same education staff who run our popular summer camp program. Day to day, the "Study Hall" program will operate similarly to a summer camp, with parent pick up and drop off. It will run on all days which Lee County schools are open. Cost: $100 per week for members; $125 per week for non-members. Register online at
https://www.edisonfordwinterestates.org/education/k-8-programs/. Drop off is at 8 a.m. and pick up is at 3 p.m.

What we provide:

  • Small group setting (8 students or less) for virtual schoolwork
  • Social distancing protocols for students and staff
  • Structured daily routine
  • Reliable computers, internet connection, and printers (students may also bring their own laptops, headphones, etc.)
  • Regular outside time on our 20 acre historic site
  • “Field trips” to our museum and historic structures during off-peak times
  • Trained education staff supervision at all times (note: tutoring is not available, but basic assistance and direction will be provided)
  • Strict staff safety protocols in place (masks and other PPE are used at all times, all staff receive daily temperature and wellness screenings, regular interaction limited to small group of education staff)
  • Daily sanitizing of work-spaces, bathrooms, and common areas
  • Note: Cost will be prorated during weeks with a school holiday

What you provide:

  • Virtual school registration
  • Daily snacks and lunches
  • A mask (students will receive regular breaks for snacks, water, and specific outside time when a mask is not required)
