Exploring Edison and the Seminole Relationship with Historian Woody Hanson
Don't miss a chance to hear fifth-generation Floridian Woody Hansen speak about the relationship between the Seminole Indians, Thomas Edison, and Fort Myers. Hanson is a descendent of Fort Myers' first permanent settlers and W. Stanley Hansen, known as the "White Medicine Man" to the Seminole and Miccosukee Indians. Woody is currently a postgraduate student studying American history at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. This is a free event, however donations are encouraged. |
