FREE Refuge Winter Program: Beginners Shell Walk
Learn about the J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge's little-known Perry Tract at Gulfside City Beach. Explore the beach to find your own treasures. Find out where those natural beach treasures come from and how they got here. Sharpen your skills in identifying your finds.
This event will meet and take place at Gulfside City Park Beach.
Note: There is a $5 parking fee/hr and parking fills fast! Arrive early.
Please note that there is a 25-participant limit on all programs. Arrive early as spots fill up fast! We also encourage you to bring water, insect repellent, sunscreen, and binoculars to outdoors tours, hikes, walks, and programs.
The Refuge staff offers a full schedule of free themed tours and activities during the winter season and an abbreviated schedule for the summer season.
