FREE Refuge Winter Program: Mangrove Walk
Walk down the Indigo Trail and learn about the complex and vibrant ecosystem of mangroves! Learn about the unique adaptations of mangrove trees, the crucial role these ecosystems play in coastal protection, and their importance as habitats for diverse wildlife.
This event starts at The Roost.
Please note that there is a 25-participant limit on all programs. Arrive early as spots fill up fast! We also encourage you to bring water, insect repellent, sunscreen, and binoculars to outdoors tours, hikes, walks, and programs.
The Refuge staff offers a full schedule of free themed tours and activities during the winter season and an abbreviated schedule for the summer season.
