FREE Refuge Winter Program: Microscopic Marvels
Join us as we use microscopy to explore and discover the diverse microorganisms that play vital roles in Southwest Florida's unique ecology and biodiversity. This program offers an exciting introduction to the often overlooked microscopic life thriving in the ecosystems of Southwest Florida, from coastal waters to wetlands!
This event will take place in the Visitor Center Auditorium.
Please note that there is a 25-participant limit on all programs. Arrive early as spots fill up fast! We also encourage you to bring water, insect repellent, sunscreen, and binoculars to outdoors tours, hikes, walks, and programs.
The Refuge staff offers a full schedule of free themed tours and activities during the winter season and an abbreviated schedule for the summer season.
