Getting to Know Island Bees
What’s the buzz? Join us for a sweet presentation as the Village welcomes Brad MacKenzie, owner of Sanibel Honey. Beekeeper Brad has worked on Sanibel and Captiva for the past five years to preserve our beautiful and diverse ecosystems. Through the challenge of three major hurricanes, he has rescued, removed, and relocated bees to their forever homes on protected land. Sanibel Honey is a native, natural, varietal honey made from Sanibel and Captiva flora by local bees.
Please join us for this fascinating program—it will be the bee’s knees!
