Better Google Searches: Sanibel Library
In this session, Beth Jarrell of Sanibel Public Library will discuss how Google works and review what makes a search “good.” Additionally, you will learn how you can find better results using keyword searches, Google shortcuts, and learn some tips to keep your personal information safe when you’re online. Jarrell will also talk about how to search for books and other items in the Sanibel Public Library catalog.
The public is invited to this program. There is no registration required and no cost to participate.
About the Speaker: Beth Jarrell
Beth began working as an intern at the Sanibel Public Library in July. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Journalism from the University of Toronto in 2015, and earned a Masters of Library and Information Science from the University of Washington in June 2019.
