School Break Camp: Day of Coding
Each day, campers take on new challenges and skills in this crash course to robotics! This camp progresses through the core science and engineering concepts that define robotics. Campers begin with an exploration of circuits and electronics to understand the fundamentals of robotics. Mid-week, campers tackle mechanical engineering and physics as they become more familiar with simple machines and mechanical advantage. The week of camp concludes with computer code and logic as campers tie together their new skills on an open-ended robotic challenge field. No prior knowledge is required. The main robotic platform used in this camp is the LEGO Mindstorm system. Register online at edisonford.org. The cost of this program is $200 for Edison Ford members and $230 for non-members.
