Name: Someone Else's Treasure
Date: September 23, 2017
Time: 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM EDT
Event Description:
Hoarding is a very serious matter.  It is quite different from someone being disorderly or junky.  Please join F.I.S.H. OF SANCAP, as an interactive panel of experts discuss and share information on this topic.  Some of us may be hoarders, know hoarders or have lived with parents who were hoarders. These behaviors can lead to tragic accidents and poor health.  This opportunity will help us to be able to distinguish the difference between myth and facts.

Belinda Bruster, PhD., LCSW and Assistant Professor of Social Work at FGCU, who is also a member of the Lee County Task Force on Hoarding will be the facilitator.  She will be accompanied by a representative from Animal Control and a support group member as they share their expertise, experiences and possible remedies.

Lunch will be available.
