"Stories for Grownups" at Sanibel Library - 15th Anniversary Celebration
"Stories for Grownups" meets at the Library on the first Friday of each month.
At 7 p.m. Thursday, February 7 Dr. Simon will tell highlight stories from 2002 right up through 2017.
Simon wanted an evening event for all those people who were not always free at 2 p.m. on a Friday. At the Annivsersary Celebration he will tell his Best of the Best from the past 15 years.
"First Fridays organizer" is Dr. Sidney B. Simon, Professor Emeritus from the University of Massachusetts. Author or co-author of five books in the areas of values clarification, getting unstuck, and forgiveness, Simon is also the author of two childrens’ books, written for his own kids when they were little. Simon tells stories that are witty and wise, and also has the knack for drawing stories from people in the audience. Come and just listen, or see if one of Simon’s stories triggers one from your own life.
The public is invited to this Library Program. There is no registration required and no additional cost to participate.
