As we celebrate 50 years of the City of Sanibel, also take time to acknowledge the 45^th year of Community Housing & Resources, a critical component in the City’s founding.  CHR formed in 1979 as a nonprofit to address the growing need for affordable housing on Sanibel, but the organization’s foundation was set years earlier as first mayor Porter Goss sought to charter the City.  Learn about the history of this critical organization and the service it provides to our island, and hear about exciting plans for growth in its future.  Please RSVP to (239) 472-8300 or fsteger@sancaptrustco.com.
