Traditional Yoga & Calming Tea Ceremony

Step into a sanctuary of serenity every Wednesday at 6 PM with our Traditional Yoga class at The Treehouse on Sanibel Island. Under the gentle guidance of instructor Jessica Lidisky, you'll embark on a journey of self-care and relaxation, enveloped in the tranquil ambiance of our inviting space. Begin your evening with soothing stretches and mindful breath work, setting the stage for a deep connection between mind and body. As you transition into standing postures, such as warrior poses, tree pose, and mountain pose, you'll experience a harmonious blend of strength and grace, nurturing both physical and mental resilience. The heart of the class offers ample time for seated and reclining poses, where you'll indulge in deeper stretches and lengthening breaths. This part of the class is designed to melt away tension and bring your mind into a state of peaceful relaxation. As your practice concludes with a restorative Savasana, treat yourself to extra touches of care from Jess with a combination of a soothing foot massage, aromatic essential oils and a calming, guided meditation. This final segment is all about embracing tranquility and rejuvenation, leaving you feeling refreshed and centered. Participants will also be served a calming tea at the conclusion of class to send you on your way in the most relaxed state for an evening of deep relaxation and slumber. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced yogi, our Traditional Yoga class welcomes all ages and skill levels.
