Trail Blazers

Join SCCF's very own trail crew, the Trail Blazers. One of our oldest volunteer groups, the Trail Blazers, help maintain SCCF trails so the Sanibel community and island visitors can explore all that the island has to offer. From the vast marshes of the Brooks Trail to the busy upland habitats of the Shipley Trail, SCCF trails rely on volunteers to stay open, safe, and accessible.

Whether you're looking for a one-off volunteer event or a weekly exercise regime, Trail Blazers is an empowering opportunity to contribute to SCCF's mission and the Sanibel community. You'll find us removing invasive plants, cutting back overgrown vegetation, pulling vines, and having a whole lot of fun!
