Weeds 'n' Seeds Plant Walk: Johnston Preserve
Join Weeds 'n' Seeds to explore SCCF's Johnston Preserve, a beautiful upland habitat that is favored by the Gopher Tortoise (NOTE this is a location change from the original event, which was scheduled for Gulfside City Park).
We will meet at the gate across from the Children’s Education Center of the Islands (350 Casa Ybel Road, Sanibel, FL) at 9 a.m. CECI has generously allowed us to park in their lot for this walk, as there is no street side parking. Call 518-322-9996 if you are having trouble finding the group.

During winter, volunteers and plant experts from the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) lead weekly, educational Weeds ‘n’ Seeds plant walks on Sanibel and nearby off-island locations. All walks are on Monday mornings and last one to two hours.
