Weeds 'n' Seeds Plant Walk: Bailey's Beach Park
During winter, volunteers and plant experts from the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) lead weekly, educational Weeds ‘n’ Seeds plant walks on Sanibel and nearby off-island locations. All walks are on Monday mornings and last one to two hours.

Weeds 'n’ Seeds will explore Bailey's Beach Park (985 Bayshore Ln, Sanibel) on Monday, Feb. 24 at 9 a.m. This narrow bayside beach has significant damage as a result of the past hurricane season, but many of the native plants are recovering and growing. Cars with A/B stickers can park here. For cars without stickers, we will be offering car pooling from Tutti Pazzi (1200 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel) leaving at 8:50 a.m.
