Weeds 'n' Seeds Plant Walk

The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF)'s Weeds 'n' Seeds is excited to return to the West Sanibel River Preserve after several years without a visit due to Hurricane Ian.

Participants will be led through this inland SCCF preserve to identify plants, observing and discussing the habitat changes we see and how plants and wildlife have been impacted since the storm.

The American Legion (4249 Sanibel Captiva Road, Sanibel) has given us permission to use the western side of their parking lot. We will meet there at 9 a.m.

The trails are overgrown, so sturdy shoes and a walking stick is recommended.
