BreakAway Vacation Properties is a rapidly growing vacation rental management company, located in Sanibel, FL. We want our vacation experts to turn our guests’ stay into an annual event year after year! We are currently seeking a Reservation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Execute administrative general office functions such as Booking reservations Screening potential guests Addressing and resolving guest inquiries and concerns Provide instruction and support to guests Arrange guest support as needed (i.e. Comcast/Century Link system refresh, others) Inform and task BVP resources as appropriate Provide centralized communication Advise and forward all maintenance requests from guests and owners to BVP Home Services Ordering supplies Administrative follow through Rental Agreement adherence and CI instruction receipt Drive survey and rating excellence Other hospitality related activities
• Light PC skills to include but not limited to: Binder updates and accuracy Post BVP branded communications for all units as needed Laminated tv, appliance, other instructions as needed Label light switches, other as needed Other tbd
• Create and manipulate ad hoc reports using Vacation Rental Management Software (Streamline VRS), MS Office (Excel) and other e-data sources
• Ability to interact with guests and owners commiserate with BVP culture
Position Requirements:
• 2-year degree/Associates degree highly preferred
• GED/High School Diploma required
• Computer skills including the ability to learn and execute VRMS transactions accurately, apply knowledge of MS Office tools, and manage Outlook mail and calendar; VRMS experience is preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to exercise appropriate discretion and good judgment in completing job duties and maintaining confidential information
• Ability to perform in a team environment, establish effective working relationships with vendors, suppliers, and industry contacts
• Working remotely after defined business hours as agreed and required
• Highly organized
