Hotel Facilities & Maintenance Position-Set Schedule-Off Sunday & Monday!

The Island Inn is looking to hire one full time facilities & maintenance professional to join its wonderful team! The job consists of:

Electric

Plumbing

HVAC

Carpentry

Painting

Drywall Patch

Screen Replacement

Mechanical

Small Engines

Appliance Repair

Grounds Maintenance

Special Projects as Needed

Being an Overall Ambassador for the Island Inn

Providing for Hotel Guest’s Needs

Set schedule of 40 hours a week. 8 am- 5pm. On Tuesday-Saturday, off Sunday & Monday. $17-22 an hour based on experience. Full health, dental, vision, life, GAP, long and short term disability insurance, as well as supplemental health insurance. Toll reimbursement. Occasional holiday work is required.

In general, we are a smaller, tight knit, fun-loving group who deeply cares for the Inn, its guests, Sanibel Island, and all that it has to offer. The Inn is busy year round, so it tends to be a fast-paced environment full of opportunities to contribute to the Inn and its valued guests. The Inn's accommodations and facilities are either new or completely renovated, with more new construction coming soon!

This is a frontline position with daily face-to-face interaction with vacationers, so guest services and presentation is important.
