Digital Imaging Specialist
The Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum (Sanibel Island, Florida) seeks a temporary, part-time Digital Imaging Specialist (DIS) to work on a grant-funded digitization project. The pay rate is $20/hr for 24 hrs/week, initially for four months, with the possibility of extension. The DIS will capture images and associated data, including shells, preserved mollusks, labels, and other materials associated with specimens. In addition to taking digital photos, the DIS will process them according to the relevant protocols, manage files on designated servers, help with ingestion of files into iDigBio (Integrated Digitized Biocollections), and communicate project progress to the Project Director.
