RENTAL PROGRAM SUPERVISOR/ASSISTANT MANAGER
 
Want to be part of a great hospitality team on Sanibel Island?  Are you able to multi-task while delivering exceptional and personalized services to guests, owners and team members alike?  Then we want to talk to you about our  Rental Program Supervisor/Assistant Manager position available immediately.  For the right candidate, this opening comes with the potential to develop into the Community Association Manager position once the current CAM retires.  Hotel/Resort front desk management experience required, marketing background preferred.  CAM license also preferred, but not required.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Front Desk/Guest Relations Supervisor

  • Supervise, support, motivate and lead rental division team to reach goals
  • Proactively interact with all guests in the office, via phone and email, and out on the property
  • Plan and coordinate guest events and rewards program
  • Intervene for any guest or service related concern that requires management direction
  • Recommend improvements of existing front office procedures to increase efficiency
 
Marketing
  • Serve on the Marketing Committee which is an advisory committee to the Board of Directors
  • Coordinate with contracted consultants and vendors to increase online visibility and ranking:
    • Onsite photography of guests, guest activities, and memorable moments
    • Social media posts
    • Email blasts
    • Website updating
    • Blog posting
    • Reviews
  • Compile and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual marketing reports
 
Assistant to Community Association Manager
  • Assist the CAM with overseeing quality control conditions of the property as they relate to maximizing the vacation experience for our guests
  • Assist with performance reviews of rental division personnel
  • Compile and provide input on annual budget and goal setting for the rental revenues
 
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1 – 3 years of supervisory/management experience in a hotel/resort front office setting, preferably on Sanibel
  • Exceptional customer service and guest relations skills
  • Ability to communication effectively, in writing and verbally
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
  • High level of experience with computers including:
    • Network configurations
    • Internet and WIFI
    • Database security and backup
    • Integrated reservation, accounting, online booking software programs (RNS preferred)
    • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must accept phone calls 24/7 as Manager on Duty if the on call maintenance person needs assistance or if there is an issue that requires management intervention 
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
